Surroundly: Rethinking Internal People Search with AI

Surroundly is an AI-powered collaborative platform designed to help teams navigate internal complexity with ease. It enables users to find people, skills, and shared goals across the organization — creating a more connected, transparent workplace.
My Role

Logo
The idea of the logo was a dynamic image of the letter S that is filled with information. Because Surroundly is about dynamics, connectins and growth.
Researchs
To better understand our users and their pain points, we conducted a range of research activities:
• PoP & PoD (Points of Parity and Difference) analysis to map how Surroundly stands out from competitors
• SWOT analysis to uncover strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats
• Branding workshops to align the product’s tone and vision with user values
• Desk research including competitor audits and industry trends review
• This research helped us define what internal communication actually means for modern teams — and how our product can truly support that.
Interfaces
Surroundly’s design balances functionality and warmth. From zero to full UI system, we created layouts, components, and reusable patterns for consistency and scalability.
Tests
Over time, I introduced prototype testing on Maze, which allowed us to validate key flows early and collect measurable feedback from real users.
Results
Surroundly is still in its early phase, and product metrics are yet to come.
But today we already have:
• A complete product design system
• Defined branding and logo
• Core UX patterns
• And a well-structured design foundation to grow and scale with confidence
